Club Child Protection Officer - vacancy

Elaine Austin, our current Child Protection Officer, has indicated that she is going to step down from this post in the very near future.

We now invite applications from anyone interested in taking on this role. This is a voluntary role but the Club will pay for all the necessary administration and training costs associated with this post.

IJF Contest Rules

New changes in contest rules have been recently brought in by the IJF (International Judo Federation).

If you are a coach or a competitor then you need to know these changes!!!

Club members win medals at the British Masters - September 2008

Congratulations to;

• Simon Woods - Gold in the Mens (45-54) Under 90 Kg. 

And

• Julian Pae  - Silver in the Mens (35-44) Under 100 Kg.

• With the retirement of Ray Harrington we are now seeking applications for the position of Club Chairman. Applications can be from current Club members, parents or anyone else who feels that they can contribute something to the Club. • Is there any Parent interested in putting themselves forward as a repersentative for the Junior players onto the Club Committe? Are there any Parents interesting in forming a Parents Committee? Please speak to Peter or Russ if you are.
